Vertex are a company specialising in Customer Management and Outsourcing in the United Kingdom, India, Canada and the USA. A key contract based in South Wales required a bespoke Performance Management solution to monitor agent performance, produce daily, weekly, monthly & yearly statistics to help the Management team improve call qualities and identify area's for improvement. Previously, Vertex used an Excel based system that was showing it's age in the time it took to input data, poor quality of available reports and constant downtime. We created a bespoke Performance Management system based on an n-tier architecture that allowed users to input data using a simple web interface, produce graphical & tabular reports and created a web-based administration tool to allow non-technically minded staff to maintain the application. Allowing users to access the application via a web browser improved the user experience as they only need the Performance Management Application open instead of 5 Excel spreadsheets. The application is in use by more than 8 staff throughout each working day and has decreased the time taken to input data by more than 300%. Tecniques Used |
